A hassle-free claims process you can trust
No one likes to have an accident or to have something happen to their home or property. It’s the last thing you want to deal with. We understand. At the Dean Ballenger Agency, we want to take the hassle and stress out of your loss experience as much as we possibly can. Obviously your stress will be different for a major accident or a house fire than for a cracked windshield or hail damage, but we’re here to assist you in your time of loss, no matter how big or small.
Our stewardship philosophy means we do the legwork for you to get your car or home back to good. We have trusted partners who work with us to make the process easy. And we won’t file a claim for smaller amounts of damage until we know that there’s enough to exceed your deductible and minimize the impact a claim will have on your rates.
If your auto or your home are damaged, or you’ve been the victim of a robbery or theft, call us as soon as you’ve spoken to the police, if you needed police assistance. We’ll start making contacts for you to have your property evaluated and prevent any additional damage or loss.
Auto Claims
If your car is drivable, we’ll refer you to a trusted local repair shop to get an estimate of the damage. Afterward, we can decide together whether it makes sense to file a claim.
If your car isn’t drivable, we’ll work to have it towed to a trusted local repair shop. Chances are, there will need to be a claim for this so we’ll get the process started quickly.
When it’s time to get your car repaired, you’ll go to the repair shop, and your rental car will be waiting for you so you can be on your way quickly. Working with our trusted shops makes the process seamless and you usually will get your car back sooner than if you had gone somewhere else.
All the work from our trusted shops is guaranteed for as long as you own your car.

In the event of a claim, below is a listing of our carriers and the contact numbers for claim reports. Prompt claims reporting helps insurance companies better manage and control costs associated with a claim. If you are unable to reach someone at the office or if it is after hours you can reach Dean on his cell.
Even if you call the carrier directly, please let us know that you have had an accident so we can file the appropriate proof of insurance document with the BMV.
